The Youth4Youth Co-ordinator will be working with youth organisations across the North East to deliver against the outcomes of the project and support young people to be part of a national steering group.You will have proven experience of working in the youth work field, preferably including outreach/detached youth work, and be skilled at devising and implementing a broad range of activities, including informal education opportunities. You should also have good communication skills, excellent IT skills, possess a full driving licence with access to a car and be willing to work outside of normal office hours. DESC:Children and Young People's Services Nottinghamshire's Youth Support Service delivers wide ranging and high quality youth service, teenage pregnancy and work based learning provision throughout Nottinghamshire. This year we were rated as "good with outstanding features" by Ofsted. This is an exciting new post within the Youth Service until the end of March 2011. Based at County Hall, West Bridgford, we require a dynamic individual to enhance and develop the Youth Offer provided by the voluntary sector in partnership with the Nottinghamshire Voluntary Youth Partnership (NVYP). You will also manage the Youth Service grant aid process, support the development of positive activities agenda for young people and support the NVYP. You will be JNC qualified with experience of working with, and having an understanding of, the voluntary youth sector.
